Kilimanjaro Expedition Dispatches
The 'Austin Adventurists' Kilimanjaro Expedition
June 2 – 14, 2017
This group of friends from Austin, Texas is about to embark on the journey of a lifetime - to reach the top of Africa! The summit of Kilimanjaro is the highest free-standing mountain in the world at 19,341f / 5,895m above sea level. It is going to be beautiful; it is going to be cold. There are untold challenges along the way but the spirit of this group has been inspiring from the start. In Tanzania the Berg Adventures team has been waiting. Join us as we set off on a nine-day journey to reach Uhuru (Freedom) Peak, the very highest point on Africa’s greatest mountain
