We carry dining tents, tables, table clothes and chairs with arms and backs. We even carry our own toilets! Our sleeping tents are 4-season North Face VE-25, the same tent we use on our Everest expeditions.
Berg Adventures knows Kilimanjaro! We have been organizing expeditions on Kilimanjaro and around the world since 2001. Many of our Tanzanian guides and staff have been working with us since the beginning. Some have been working on Kilimanjaro for decades.
High-altitude experience and emergency equipment. We are a mountaineering company first and operate our climbs on Kilimanjaro as we would on any high-altitude expedition. We carry emergency oxygen, Gammov bags and pulse-oximeters on all climbs at no extra charge. Most importantly, our staff of seasoned guides knows how to use this vital equipment.
No shortcuts or hidden costs. From the moment we pick you up at the airport to the moment we drop you off, we offer the highest standard of service, food, equipment and staff. Park fees and safety equipment are always included in the cost of your Kilimanjaro climb.
No minimum numbers. We will never cancel your trip due to a lack of enough participants. If you put down your deposit, we will make your trip happen.

No Middleman. At Berg Adventures we organize and operate our own trips to ensure the highest quality of guides, services and equipment.
Trip training and gear outfitting. We provide training tips and services to help you get in shape. We will also assist you with finding the right gear. You can rent high quality gear directly from Berg Adventures. We own, store and maintain this gear in Arusha and your order will be delivered to you at your hotel after you arrive. Gear purchasing services are also available.
Excellent food and service. We provide a wide variety of fresh foods every day and at every meal. We have fresh produce and meat resupplied throughout every trip. See our FAQ section for a sample menu. We are happy to cater to your dietary needs.

Communication. We carry satellite phones, cell phones and radios on every climb. Each day we report back to the office with updates which they share on our website to keep your friends and family informed. Additionally, we have a 24 hour on-call phone which your family members can call should they need to reach you in an emergency.
