Kilimanjaro Expedition Dispatch
August 3, 2014 – Team Arriving in Arusha
At 3:30 am August 3. Hugo and Edward were on the Turkish Airlines flight that arrives at Kilimanjaro International Airport at 1:30 AM! Arnold was waiting for them and brought them to the hotel. Hugo flew in from his home in Brazil and Edward from Malta. The hotel was very welcoming and they allowed the guys to check in very early - in the middle of the night basically.
Then Rick and Amanda arrived from Hong Kong and Bangkok via Nairobi.
Sunday morning. Hugo and Peter went off to explore Arusha. They went to the Sunday Maasai market and to do a bit of Shopping.
Johnathon arrived on the KLM flight from Amsterdam at about 8:00 PM. Again, Arnold was waiting at the airport for him. His son Jordan is on his way. After his delay in Ho Chi Min, he has gotten on a flight to Doha and will be arriving in at Kilimanjaro International from Nairobi around, 10:00 AM tomorrow morning. Arnold will be there of course!
