August 4, 2010 – Last Day on Safari

This is Andrea on the last day of my safari with Elizabeth. We woke up bright and early this morning to head into the Ngorongoro Crater and it was certainly worth it. Not only did we see more zebra, buffalo, wildebeest and some birds, but we also spent a long time watching a family of lions that were very, very close to our truck. In the afternoon we also got to see a rhino which was the last of the big five animals that we had on our list. So all in all it was a very successful day.

Now we're on our way back to Arusha for our last day in Tanzania. We can't believe how fast these last two weeks have gone by! It's been fantastic!
