August 3, 2010 – Exciting First Day on Safari

Hi this is Elizabeth calling with a dispatch from our first day on safari. We've seen a bunch of animals so far since we entered the park. We saw a huge herd of zebra, a herd of buffalo, and we've seen four of the big five animals in Africa: elephants, leopards, lions and buffalo. We also got to see three cheetahs and a leopard today.

We're now heading over to Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge where we are staying tonight. Hopefully tomorrow on safari we'll see a rhino which will complete the big five. Andrea and I are looking forward to a great day tomorrow and we'll touch base with you again soon.
