August 1, 2010 – Down from the Mountain and Off to Safari

We're back in Arusha after a fairly long walk downhill yesterday. We arrived at the base of the mountain and were treated to a great hot lunch with the whole crew who did some singing and dancing to celebrate with us. We then took a ride back to the hotel in Arusha where we had probably the best shower of our lives and a great night's sleep.

We woke up this morning, had another great breakfast, and are now preparing to head out on safari in Tarangire National Park, which should be a whole lot of fun. We're really excited!
