"Joints In Motion" CARE Team Gokyo Trek with Berg Adventures

“Joints In Motion” is the national signature fundraising event for the Arthritis Society in Canada. The Arthritis Society is an organization that provides funding to fight arthritis. With the help of a dedicated group of volunteers, they are able to raise the funds necessary for the research, programs and services for the 1 in 6 Canadians who live with this disease.
This is an inaugural event for "Joints In Motion," who has plans to do a similar adventure in 2010.
This trekking adventure is organized by George Fischer and Evan Quick. Please join us on this exclusively designed expedition and discover the wonders of the majestic Himalayan Mountains. This trek has it all: wonderful day-hikes along the string of sacred lakes, giant snow-capped peaks and fantastic views of Everest, Cho Oyu, Nuptse, Lhotse and Makalu from Gokyo Ri, in particular at sunset.
The trip will be challenging but will provide one of the most aesthetic journeys that any climber could dream of.
