Rongai Route, August 1 - August 11, 2008
On the forgotten north side of Kilimanjaro, the drier side of the mountain, the Rongai route offers a direct ascent route and shorter hiking days. On summit day we will attempt to reach the Crater Rim and then continue along to the top of Africa at Uhuru Peak.
