Ecuador and Galapagos Expedition Dispatch
October 4, 2017 – Our Team Arrived in Quito
The northern Ecuador hiking contingency of this Berg Adventures International expedition in Ecuador flew into Quito International Airport just before midnight on Wednesday the 4th.
Paula and Mark Comisar have arrived from Cincinnati via Atlanta and just before midnight, Rob and Sue, Gordon and Tina, Chuck and Leah landed on the United flight they came from Vancouver to Houston and on to Quito.
Amparo met them at the airport as always and send them down to a lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Quito old town where we all got together.
The host Philip and Collette had prepared us some classical Ecuadorian dishes for our midnight snack. Excited to be together again, we were all together in Machu Picchu just one year ago of course. Here we go on another adventure. We caught up and visited together until 3am and then we got some sleep.
