Kilimanjaro Expedition Dispatch
September 10, 2017 – The Team has Sent Great Photos from Karanga Camp
On Saturday the team reached Karanga Camp after crossing the Great Barranco Wall. Karanga Camp is at a lower elevation; they are back down at 4000 meters, about 13,000 feet. From here they will climb to High Camp and on the Crater of Kilimanjaro.
Karanga Camp is also a resupply point. BAI brings in fresh food and much of the trash and recyclables from the trip so far goes down the mountain with porters.
Arnold took the opportunity to come out from Arusha to help resupply the team and he sent us these photos. You can see how well Adriana, Andrea and Josh are doing and how much fun everyone is having!
