June 23, 2013 – Relaxing at Barafu Camp Before Our Big Day

Hello it’s Patty. We are at Barafu Camp. Both Matt and I are feeling great. It was a good day, a very short day. We are reviewing all the preparations for tomorrow and I am trying to be very positive but I must say…. I am a little worried. But I know that Berg Adventures and Emmanuel will take me to the top. Keep sending your good thoughts and prayers, I love you all.

Hi This is matt, we are just discussing our gear, having little lunch right now, Emmanuel is reassuring us and informing us, all the different things we might encounter with this weather; we feel very safe, we have all the right clothing and we are going to relax this afternoon , hangout and tomorrow morning , early, 5 o’clock, on the trail by 6 and tomorrow is summit day, I am so excited . I love you all at home … and Molly and I love you dad, I am not sure who else you will share this with, please share.
