June 21, 2013 – Reporting By A Glacial Stream

This is Emmanuel (Berg Adventures Chief Guide) and like I told you we went up the mountain from 13,000 feet. After getting our lunch me, Matt and Patty decided to go to Arrow Glacier which is 17,000 feet. At the moment we are on the way back from Arrow Glacier to Lava Tower Camp. We are descending to Lava Camp which is 15,000 feet.

Hi this is Matt. I don’t know if you can hear that background but that is a glacial stream running down Kilimanjaro. We just finished hiking back from Arrow Glacier and we are going to go down to our Lava Tower Camp and spend the night there. We are having a great time and feeling really good! Here is Patty:
