Kilimanjaro Expedition Dispatch
January 18, 2013 – Enjoying Arusha, Preparing for Kilimanjaro
This is Bill, arrived in Arusha yesterday afternoon. I was picked up by the team from Berg Adventures, I changed planes in Dar es Salaam. Today we went out and tour the city of Arusha, we went to many spots, we went to the market, we went by the Greek Orthodox Church compound with the school and orphanage and we went out and had an African lunch. The group was very, very hospitable and we had a lot of fun. We saw many of the Town of Arusha and buildings and the way the people live their lives here in Arusha. It is very green, very beautiful. The hotel is extremely nice and we just go back and we went out by the swimming pool and had a nice refreshing swim. We had a great day today and tomorrow we look forward to taking on the mountains.
