Kilimanjaro Expedition Dispatches
Berg Adventures Mount Kilimanjaro Climb and Safari
Lemosho Traverse, December 29, 2012-January 13, 2013
This brother and sister duo is about to journey to Africa’s highest point of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Towering at 19,340ft (5,895m), this lone giant makes up one of the Seven Summits. We invite you to join their climb as we document their journey through our daily dispatches. Janet and Bruce will voyage through the plains of Tanzania, to the tropical rainforests and dry alpine deserts, and the glacial artic conditions of the mountain.
After the climb, Janet and Bruce will join Berg Adventures on an action-packed three-day safari. This trip will offer them the opportunity to explore Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation area and experience the diversity of Northern Tanzania’s wildlife.
