Berg Adventures Kilimanjaro Climb – Doc Martin 75th Birthday Expedition
Umbwe Climb (Overnight at the Crater), June 10 – 23, 2012
Doctor Charles Martin is returning to Kilimanjaro to celebrate his 75th birthday and he’s bringing some of his closest friends and family along.

The climb begins with a walk through pristine forest and includes two nights camped at the beautiful heights of Barranco to allow for acclimatization at the critical elevation of 12,800 feet and finally traveling to the summit in the alpine desert. Before attempting the summit, they will spend an unforgettable night at 18,700ft/5699m in the mountain’s crater. We can’t think of a better way to celebrate a birthday!
