Kilimanjaro Expedition Dispatch

January 29, 2010 – The Culture Tour Continues

It’s Darcy. Today we had a visit with the Datoq tribe at one of their homes and also went to an onion farm and to see a local natural stream. Then, after a great lunch, we drove back to Mto wa Mbu at Ento village for the night. It is located just below the Rift Valley Escarpment and is beautiful. It has volcanic rock all over and it’s very interesting.

I’ll send another dispatch in a few days because I won’t be able to do it before then. Bye bye, love you all.
