February 3, 2009 – The Guys Reach Mweka Camp

Aerial view of Crater Camp. Our team spent an unforgettable night at this camp after their successful summit.

This is Dwight and Richard checking on day 8 on Kilimanjaro. After 4 ½ hours of hiking on our descent, we are safely down at the Mweka Camp at 3,100m/10,170 ft.

The night at the Crater Camp was a real experience. Sleeping in the actual crater of Kilimanjaro was a definite adventure.
