Kilimanjaro Expedition Dispatch

January 22, 2008 – The Safari Experience

Hi this is Al and Cheryl calling on behalf of the entire group. In Tanzania, we are having a wonderful time. We’ve all pretty much recovered from our climb up Kilimanjaro. We had a great day yesterday in Tarangeri National Park. We saw countless animals, which was wonderful. Today we went through the park once again, and so far we have seen two of the big five, water buff and elephants in addition to many other species. We also visited a Masai village this afternoon which was fascinating.

We are looking forward to seeing many more animals tomorrow in the Ngorongoro Crater. Most of us are coming home soon; Janet is staying for a few extra days. Hope you are all doing well.
