Kilimanjaro Expedition Dispatch

January 20, 2008 – To the Summit through a Snowstorm

Good morning this is Craig on Day 8 of the BAI Kilimanjaro climb. We are on our way down. We made it to the summit yesterday afternoon at about 3pm after a very long and difficult 8-hour ascent in a snowstorm. We are happy to be at lower altitude and we're headed to the hotel one day early. It's a great spectacular mountain.

Everybody's doing well, two of our party were not able to make it to the summit, but the other five made it up. We got some good pictures and we're headed down. See you all soon, we miss and love you.
