Mount Aratat & the Wonders of Turkey Expedition Dispatch

September 13, 2019 – The Climb Begins Today!

Due to the weather forecast, we decided to climb earlier to high camp and settle to attempt the summit a few days early. The altitude of high camp is 13,450ft / 4,100m.

So we are all here, our Turkish climbing team: Jimal, Mehmet and Dugyu together with myself, Rob and Chuck.
