Mount Aratat & the Wonders of Turkey Expedition Dispatch

September 10, 2019 – Here We go! Time to Leave Cappadocia

This morning we left Cappadocia for our next destination, Mount Ararat. We’ve flown to Van via Istanbul and still had to do a couple of hours drive to Doğubeyazit. Quite a long day!

We met our guiding team, long-time friends, who always guided for Berg Adventures and it was a great emotional moment for Wally to see them again.

We stopped for dinner and had an amazing traditional Turkish dishes. Tomorrow we leave to the mountain and the climb begins!
