Kilimanjaro Expedition Dispatch

September 5, 2017 – Here We Go!

Don’t be fooled by the Land Cruiser! Lemosho Gate, on the far western side of Kilimanjaro, is as far as the road goes! The team is all smiles and good spirits as we set off. It is a beautiful day in the forest as we start. Something tells us that the “hours to” each camp along the way, as described on this sign, is not the whole story however. Stay tuned as we post reports along the way.
