Kilimanjaro Expedition Dispatch
24 de Dezembro, 2014 – Acampamento Lava, 4,600 metros (Lava Tower Camp, 4,600 Metres)
Jambo do Kilimanjaro!
Aqui é o Herman, guia da Berg Adventures. Estamos no nosso quarto dia da expedição no acampamento Lava, altitude de 4,600 metros.
Alex e Gabriel estão muito bem, nenhum problema na aclimatização e super forte.
Todo mundo está contente aqui! Quando eles chegam no acampamento tem sempre muita dança e canto e eles estão adorando a comida, estão comendo muito!
Em termos do clima, ainda está chovendo. Hoje a chuva começou quando chegamos no acampamento, logo não tivemos que caminhar na chuva.
Agora vamos almoçar e apesar de ter chovido um pouco de manhã, parece que o tempo vai melhorar hoje a tarde.
Já estamos bem próximo da montanha e podemos ver as geleiras do Kilimanjaro do nosso acampamento.
Estamos super bem aqui no Kilimanjaro; estou super orgulhoso do Gabriel e Alex, estão se aclimatizando bem e não estão tendo dificuldade.

This is Herman from Berg Adventures. This is our fourth day and we are already at 4600 meters at Lava Tower.
Alex and Gabriel are doing great. So far they have been doing very well with acclimatization to the high altitude.
Everyone is happy on this trip. When the guys arrive into camp there is a lot of singing and dancing with the Berg team. The guys say that they love the food and they are eating a lot!
As far the weather goes we have still been having a little bit of rain. Yesterday in the afternoon we had some rain. Today the rain started after we got here to Lava Tower, so we did not have to walk in the rain. It is time for lunch now, and even though we have a little rain, it looks like clearing later this afternoon. We are very close to the mountain now, with the glaciers just above us.
We are all doing great on Kilimanjaro. I am proud of Gabriel and Alex and how well they are acclimatizing and how strong they are.
