Kilimanjaro Expedition Dispatch
August 21, 2013 – Celebration at the Mweka Gates
Hello everyone who is following the Berg Adventures dispatch from Kilimanjaro. Today in the morning the group departed from Mweka Camp which is 3,000 m above sea level. We then started to Mweka gate which is 1,800 m above sea level. We took 3 hours to reach the Mweka gate. Now we are at the gate and the group is having a good time celebrating with the local drums. They are enjoying a picnic lunch with a big buffet with many different dishes.
Once we are done the celebration the group will drive back to Arusha where they will have a shower at the Mt. Meru hotel. We will call you later when the group finishes here. But for now thank you!

A Message from Ayaaz
On behalf of Jason, Josh, Alyssa, Zeanna, Salma and myself we are having an awesome time right now. We are at a celebration for our climb and I hope you can hear the party going on. This is really incredible; we are all feeling so good.
I want to thank Berg Adventures for arranging this and we are just so pleased with everything that is happening right now.
