June 25, 2013 – Our Last Full Day on the Mountain

Hello this is Patty. It’s our last full day on the mountain. This morning we descended from Barafu Camp to have lunch at High Camp and then High Camp to Moir Camp where we are camping now .It’s been a very easy, very leisurely day, and we are having a wonderful time! I will miss so much Yonna’s cooking, it’s great! I will miss talking with Emmanuel and Thomas on the trails. It’s just been an incredible adventure, thank you Berg Adventures and thank you everyone who made this possible for me, I will miss everyone. A special shout out to Victoria and Gabe, I miss you very much and I love you, Alex you too and of course Roy, and my family.

Happy birthday Molly, if you are listening to this! We were right in the clouds; I was watching the mist roll through all the clouds that we watched for the past few days. It’s nice to have thick air to breath with lots of oxygen. It’s really lush and peaceful and beautiful here in Moir Camp.
