June 19, 2013 – Leaving the Forest

Hello it’s Patty. We are at approximately 12,000 feet day two on the climb. I’m doing great. It's beautiful scenery; Last night we slept in the trees below the monkeys, who woke us up in the morning! The food is great and I’m feeling wonderful! I love you all. Special shout out to Victoria, Gabe and Lauren.

Hello Matt here. Had a wonderful day hiking so far, it's sunny and beautiful at 3,600 meters and we are having a great time. We have just travelled out of the jungle and into the dry parts. We enjoyed seeing all the Calibus monkeys and the wonderful birds. It’s been great so far!
