Kilimanjaro Expedition Dispatch
September 16, 2012 – John Reporting from the Serengeti
Hi, this is John reporting from the Serengeti for Peggy, Richa and Eddie. Jackie and Joe have departed. So, we’re enjoying the Serengeti. We’re watching a lion king, male, and a lioness, lying in the grass and I think they have things on their mind (laughter in the background). We have had a really great adventure today. We just departed from seeing a cheetah and her two cubs and they were just wonderful. We’ve had a long day because we drove from the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge this morning and over a kind of rough, bouncy road to get here in the Serengeti, but it’s been really fruitful and we’re excited to be here. We’re looking forward to tomorrow when we have a full-day safari. We’re leaving at 8:00 o’clock, we’re bringing a boxed lunch, and we’re going to spend the whole day in the Serengeti! That’s it for now. We will provide another dispatch; Richa is going to talk to you tomorrow from the Serengeti. By for now, Jambo!
