October 11, 2011 – Raquel’s Morning Visit to Pashupati
Raquel Coelho is a member of the Berg Adventures Lobuche Climbing Team this season. She is an interior designer from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, with a passion for photography and Asia. Today she woke up at 5am and drove with her husband, Denio, to Pashupatinath Temple. Located along the banks of the Bamati River in eastern Kathmandu, it is one of the most significant Hindu temples for Lord Shiva in the world. These images are her vision of the temple.
