July 5, 2011 – The Whole Family Reunites at the Park Gates

This is Eric calling from Arusha. Today we hiked down the mountain from Mweka Camp and arrived at the gates for a big lunch. Scott’s wife Tracy and daughter Katherine came to the gate to congratulate Scott and Brennen for making it to the top of Africa. The family enjoyed a lunch together and was happy to be reunited. Now they are at the hotel taking showers and resting. Tomorrow they will begin their safari with Berg Adventures. Their first stop is Tarangire National Park, so stay tuned for news from the plains of Africa!
