June 20, 2011 – Safely Off the Summit and Relaxing at the Crater Camp

Admiring the glaciers at sunset as we rest our tired, but happy bodies in the crater for the night.

As an added dispatch today, we are pleased to report that everyone is off the summit of Kilimanjaro and relaxing at our spectacular camp on the floor of the summit crater. We are enjoying the late afternoon sunshine on the glaciers near our camp. Now we are all kicking back in our chairs with hot drinks and already starting to share stories of how everybody in our group got to the top of the highest point in Africa.
