June 14, 2011 – The Team Leaves for the Mountain

It is already time to leave for the mountain. After a huge buffet breakfast at the Mt. Meru Hotel, we checked our valuables in at the front desk, and loaded into the Land Cruisers for the 3 hour drive to Londrossi Gate, our entrance station for Kilimanjaro National Park.

Early on a rainy Tuesday morning the vehicles were ready to leave for the mountain.
