Kilimanjaro Expedition Dispatch

March 26, 2010 – To the Summit and Back

Patrick and the Tanzanian team made it safely to the summit on March 25th, as planned. They had a beautiful sunny day, in fact a number of them, including Patrick, were sunburnt. Climbing at high altitude can be misleading because it feels so cold outside that you don't notice the sun burning you until it is too late. Always remember your sunscreen!

Safely down from the mountain, Patrick is continuing on his world tour where he will rest up and enjoy some time travelling in Thailand before returning home to Canada.
