Kilimanjaro Expedition Dispatch

September 20, 2008 – Kwaheri and Asante from Dave and Ginny

On Saturday, David and Ginny returned from the Serengeti, smiling, relaxed and full of stories. They were happy to see Angel again and to meet Wally and tell him some of their tales from their adventures.

Hi everyone! Kwaheri (goodbye in Swahili) Tanzania and Asante (thank you) to our Berg staff! A special thanks to Elias and Richard for guiding, protecting and allowing Ginny to have a lifetime experience. To Rodrick and his 12 disciples, my gratitude for helping me achieves my goal of climbing Kilimanjaro. By far the hardest thing I have ever done or may ever do!

I also would like to give an ever bigger "thank you" to David, our driver, guide and friend. His knowledge of wildlife allowed us to have encounters with African game that will never be forgotten.

The Tanzanian people have little and give much.
