Kilimanjaro Expedition Dispatch

July 30, 2008 – Safari Proves Bountiful!

Hi this is Brad. We were in the Ngorongoro Crater today and we saw a lot of great wildlife. We saw hyenas, cape buffalos, antelope, and we were even lucky enough to see a rhinoceros with her baby. We were very fortunate to see a leopard, and also saw elephants both in the crater and up on the crater rim.

The Sopa Lodge was fantastic! A very neat lodge overlooking over the crater and we enjoyed staying there very much.

After a short stop for lunch, we will be on our way back to Arusha and tomorrow we are heading out to South Africa.
