March 15, 2008 – Africa: A Beautiful Place

Hi this is Laura from Berg Adventures trek, heading up Kili. I have to tell you this is the most beautiful, beautiful place on earth. We have had an incredible start to the day, driving to the gates on Kili; we stopped at the market place, everyone is Jambo (hello), big smiles, lots of music and lots of happy, happy people.

The scenery is phenomenal. We hiked though the rainforest, we got POURED on, lots and lots of wetness, but that’s okay, it’s all worth it. I love it and I am having an experience of a lifetime. Here’s Jane...

Hi everyone this is Jane, day one was sensational, loved every minute of it. The rain forest, what a beautiful place with waterfalls; and so lush with green ferns everywhere, and were having fun with our guides Julius and John, they are fabulous. We are having the time of our lives. Love to all.
