January 14, 2008 – Approaching Shira

This is Janet calling, were are nearing in the Shira Plateau. I am sending a special hello to my fiancé, and I might need my feet warmed in a couple of weeks.

From where we are we can see way over Africa, it is amazing. There is a nice wind blowing and we have been spoiled with the beautiful weather and food which we have enjoyed so far... [lost transmission]
