Everest Base Camp Trek Dispatch

October 28, 2019 – Ama Dablam Base Camp

On Monday morning Adriana hiked to Ama Dablam Base Camp, elevation 4,570 meters above sea level.

This is a beautiful Base Camp and as you can see from the photo there are a number of teams climbing Ama Dablam at this time. November is considered to be the best weather of the year to climb this spectacular peak.

Adriana takes everything in stride; Ang Temba comments almost every day about how strong she is for trekking. Taking a day to visit Ama Dablam Base is always worth it, it only takes a couple of hours to go up and afterwards you can return the lodge and Yangzee's kitchen!
