November 7, 2016 – Termas de Papallacta

Time to rest, time to relax and recuperate our energies. No better place than at a Hot Spring on the Upper Amazon Basin. Here we are, at Termas de Papallacta with an altitude of 10,824ft/3,300m. Quite a descent from Cayambe but this is a technique learned by Berg Adventures from many seasons on Everest: go down to a lower elevation to recuperate before going high again.

Life just can’t get better than that!
