After Termas Papallacta we decided to visit Banos, a town situated in the province of Tungurahua in central Ecuador. The city is known as the “Gateway to the Amazon”, the last big city in the mountains before reaching the jungle.
We first stopped for lunch at Ambato; Guinea Pig was the menu! Why not?
