June 11, 2015 – A Great Practice Day

Hi, this is Trevor calling from the base camp of Condoriri.

We have just spent the day up in advanced base camp on Condoriri. We were doing our training up there.

We were using our crampons, using ice axes, drilling into the ice and using our ascenders.

A few minutes later…

Hello, this is Osvaldo calling from the Condoriri base camp. Maybe you didn’t get Trevor’s message but we just back safely to the base camp after a good practice day. We were practicing with ropes, crampons, ice axes in the glacier.

So everything is okay. Tomorrow we are planning to have a rest day. Maybe we can make a short walk in the morning. Most of the day we will be just resting in our tents and just getting for our next climb which will be on Saturday.
