Aconcagua Expedition Dispatch

January 31, 2015 – Ed’s Birthday Today

Today is Ed’s birthday. It is also our last day and night at Plaza de Mulas before we move up for at least 6 nights for our summit attempt.

The wind really blew last night, seemed like it anyway, in flappy nylon that we heard from inside our tents. It sounded pretty severe, probably about 20 or 30 kilometers wind. We had that the whole morning as well but this afternoon it is got calm again, still sunny. This weather is good; we can’t complain in Aconcagua if the wind blows and we have sunshine. We will keep you posted high on the mountain. The team is doing great, happy birthday Ed!
