July 29, 2013 – Martin and Osvaldo Prepare for Their Hike to High Camp

Hi this is Osvaldo calling from the Glacier Lagoon. It is 9 o’clock in the morning and the weather is great; we have all clear skies! We just finished our breakfast and then we are going to start preparing everything for our walk today. We will go to the High Camp today at 5,450 meters. So I will keep you updated, but that’s all for now. Bye!

Hey this is Martin and we are up on High Camp on Ancohuma. We are just finishing lunch and are going to set up camp and then head for the summit tomorrow. We will probably start hiking at 2 am.

It’s a beautiful day so far and hopefully it will hold out. We will let you know how it goes tomorrow. Thanks!
