June 20, 2011 – Great Day Around Sajama
This is Osvaldo calling from the base of Sajama. We arrived last night at 7:00pm to find that we had the beautiful, comfortable lodge all to ourselves. This morning we went for a hike to the glaciers nearby to acclimatize and take in the beauty of this landscape. The weather was very clear. Simon prepared us a big lunch and after that we relaxed in the nearby hot springs. It was very relaxing. Now the group is playing cards as they wait for a delicious dinner.
