Deluxe Khumbu & Everest Base Camp Trek: April 17 – May 10, 2010
Spring has sprung in Nepal, bringing with it brightly colored rhododendrons, birds chirping, yak bells ringing and the excitement and energy of another season’s Everest climbing expeditions. This year, Berg Adventures is bringing four Canadians and one American through one of the most tranquil and beautiful areas in the world; the Khumbu Valley up to Everest Base Camp at 17,500 feet (5,333 metres). From Namche Village onward, they will be surrounded by giant mountains with snow capped peaks as far as the eye can see and at every turn they will be greeted with the friendly faces of some of our oldest and best mountaineering friends.
