November 13, 2009 – Cayambe Summit!
We are proud to announce that this entire team has reached the top of Cayambe on Friday November 13th, so much for the superstition about such a date!
It was a long day, the weather changed from snow to clear and back to cloudy and almost whiteout conditions but our team kept on going; they were unstoppable! Berg Adventures’ climbers soldiered on!!! After a long day they all made it back safely to the hut and down the valley.
Congratulations everyone! Now, I will let the photos tell you the story on how their day progressed!
At 1 am the team was all geared up and ready to start their climb

Ken relaxed and happy to go
The sun was starting to rise and the weather looked stable
