2. Why are the specific tastings not included in the trip cost? Back to Top
We’ve left the tastings out of the trip cost to give you the opportunity to select which vineyards you would like to visit. Your personal guide will work with you to determine which wineries are most likely to fit your tastes and desires. Some people may find that they only want to visit one or two wineries per day while others may wish to visit three or four. By not including the tastings in the trip cost, we provide you with flexibility to do as you wish.

3. Which grape varieties are typically grown in Mendoza? Back to Top
Mendoza is best known for robust Malbecs, hardy Cabernet Sauvignons, aromatic Tempranillos and nutty Chardonnays. The combination of mineral-rich soil from the Andean mountains and high altitudes result in very flavorful wines with firm tannins.

7. What should I wear to the wineries? Back to Top
The most important thing to think about when packing will be comfort. That said, if you decide to wear jeans with flip flops, you will probably feel under-dressed. Smart, casual clothes with a nice comfortable pair of shoes will be perfect for your days touring wineries.
8. What weather should I expect in Mendoza? When is the best time to travel? Back to Top
Weather is relatively mild in Mendoza year round, though the winter months (May to August) are definitely cooler. The region is quite dry throughout the year, so there is no rainy season to avoid. For moderate temperatures and lots of sun, October and April are lovely! November – March can be hot during the day, but due to the high altitude, it usually cools down in the evening and overnight.
