Everest Base Camp Trek Dispatch
October 22, 2019 – Pangboche to Dingboche
The trail is not long between Temba and Yangzee's beautiful lodge at Pangcoche., but the elevations are getting more serious now. Dingboche is over 4300 meters, so we hike there slowly today and we will spend an extra night acclimatizing before we move higher toward Base Camp.
Adriana brought a special sweet treat from Brazil to share. Apparently it contains a lot of energy, and it makes you strong. It’s called Goiabada and it is made of guava; very popular dessert in Brazil dating back to the colonial days!
