April 17, 2018 – First Day in Kathmandu
Jack and Scott arrived on a Dubai flight at Kathmandu’s International Airport Monday afternoon. Ang Temba was waiting of course and after the long flights from the US we are sure the guys were glad to be on the ground in Nepal. The adventure begins!
There was a bit of concern because of one delayed bag. When the guys went to the Hyatt Regency in Kathmandu for their first night in Nepal they were without one of their checked bags. Air Dubai came through however and the bag was delivered to the Hyatt this morning.
What a day! Temba and the guy visited the three main religious sites in Kathmandu. Swayambhunath, the Hindu Temple Pashupati and the Buddhist Stupa Boudhanath.
These photos that Temba took will give a feel for some of the fascinating sites they saw.
Tomorrow morning bright and early it is back to the airport for the flight to Lukla. We wish them good luck with the weather and we will update you when they arrive.

Welcome to Nepal!
