April 18, 2018 – Early Morning Flight to Lukla!
The team, Ang Temba, Jack and Scott flew early this morning from Kathmandu and as you can see from these photos they were in the mountains, at the famous Lukla airstrip a short time later.
Today's walk took them through beautiful sections of the trail that are dominated by beautiful Buddhist religions art, prayer wheels, Mani stones and Chortens. They arrive at today’s destination, the riverside village of Phakding in the early afternoon.
This trek is off to a great start!
