Elbrus Expedition Dispatch
June 28, 2017 – First Acclimatization Day
After a great night’s sleep and morning rest we all gathered and had a fantastic lunch. It is great to be back with our hotel friends. We had a little drive to get to the Cheget ski area, we took chair lifts to the top of Cheget for our first acclimatization day. The amazing views were well worth it with photo opportunities of Mount Elbrus, alpine tundra and wild flowers.
